Hakon Ahlberg
Hakon Ahlberg (10 June 1891 – 12 March 1984) was a Swedish architect, author, and editor. Biography Hakon Claes Axel Ahlberg was born at Laholm in Halland County, Sweden. He studied architecture at the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, completing his studies in 1914. He also undertook studies at the Royal Swedish Academy of Arts in 1914–1917, one of his most influential teachers being Ivar Tengbom. Ahlberg established his own office in 1917. He was best known as the official architect for the repair and restoration of Gripsholm Castle, near the town of Mariefred, in central Sweden. He was one of the founding members and first president of the Swedish Architects' Association and was known as an active participant in architectural debates. Alf Ahlberg
Alf Ahlberg (21 October 1892 – 29 January 1979) was a Swedish academic, writer, humanist and philosopher. Early life and education Ahlberg was born in 1892 in Laholm, Sweden, the son of Axel Ahlberg and Anna Lindskog, and the brother of the architect Hakon Ahlberg. He studied at Lund University and came to know in particular Sigfrid Lindstrom and Gunnar Aspelin. In the summer, he stayed in Lund to read Schopenhauer in the botanical garden of Lund at the foot of Aagardhs statue. He earned a Master of Business Administration in 1911 and his PhD in 1917 with the thesis, "Material problems of Platonism: Plato, Aristotle, Plotinus, Bruno: a historical-critical study." Career Ahlberg was a senior teacher at a college in Stockholm and was a lecturer at the Arbetarinstitutet. Bruno Valfrid Ahlberg (born 23 April 1911 – 9 February 1966) was a Finnish boxer who competed in the 1932 and 1936 Summer Olympics. In 1932 he became the first Finnish boxer to win an Olympic medal, a bronze in the welterweight division. Four years later he lost his first bout in the middleweight competition. Mats Bertil Åhlberg (born 16 May 1947) is a retired Swedish professional ice hockey player who played in the Elitserien. He played for Leksands IF, and with 323 goals in 491 matches remains the top goalscorer for that club. He won the Swedish national title with Leksands in 1969 and 1973–75.
