Ahafo Region
The Ahafo Region is a newly created region in Ghana with Goaso as its capital. The region has administrative and governmental legislature like all the ten already existing regions in Ghana. The region was carved out of the south-eastern part of the Brong Ahafo Region and was in fulfillment of a campaign promise made by New Patriotic Party. Prior to the 2016 Ghanaian general election, the then candidate Nana Akufo-Addo declared that when elected, he would explore the possibility of creating new regions out of some of the existing regions in Ghana in order to bring government closer to citizens. The execution of plans for the creation of the regions was assigned to the newly created Ministry of Regional Reorganization and Development which is under the leadership of Hon. Dan Botwe. Regions Of Ghana
The Regions of Ghana constitute the first level of subnational government administration within the Republic of Ghana. As of 2020, there are currently sixteen regions, which are further divided for administrative purposes into 260 local metropolitan, municipal and district assemblies (or MMDA's). Current regions The former ten regional boundaries were officially established in 1987, when the Upper West Region was inaugurated as the state's newest administrative region. Although the official inauguration was in 1987, the Upper West Region had already functioned as an administrative unit since the break-up of the Upper Region in December 1982, prior to the 1984 national census. Council Of State (Ghana)
The Council of State in Ghana is a small body of prominent citizens, analogous to the Council of Elders in the traditional political system, which advises the President on national issues. The Council of State was established by Articles 89 to 92 of the 1992 Constitution of Ghana: "There shall be a Council of State to counsel the President in the performance of his functions." Membership The Council of State should include a former Chief Justice of Ghana, a former Chief of the Defence Staff and a former Inspector General of Police and the President of the National House of Chiefs. Asutifi North District
Asutifi North District is one of the six districts in Ahafo Region, Ghana. The District was formerly part of the then-larger Asutifi District since 1988, until the southern part of the district was split off to create Asutifi South District on 28 June 2012. The remaining norther part is Asutifi North District. The district assembly is located in the eastern part of Ahafo Region and has Kenyasi as its capital town. References

Eric Opoku (politician)
Eric Opoku is a Ghanaian politician and member of the Seventh Parliament and 8th Parliament of the Fourth Republic of Ghana representing the Asunafo South Constituency in the Brong-Ahafo Region on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress. Early life and education Eric Opoku was born on 5 June 1970. He hails from a town called Sankore in the Brong Ahafo region of Ghana. He had his Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Science from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in year 2004. Career Opoku is a farmer/ agriculturist. Evans Bobie Opoku
Evans Bobie Opoku is a Ghanaian politician and member of the Seventh Parliament and Eighth Parliament of the Fourth Republic of Ghana representing the Asunafo North Constituency in the Ahafo Region on the ticket of the New Patriotic Party. Kenyasi is a town in Ghana and it's the capital of the Asutifi North District in the Ahafo Region. Techimantia
Techimantia is a town located in the Tano South Municipal District in the Ahafo Region of Ghana. It's about 14 km away from Bechem Bechem is a town and is the capital of Tano South district of the Ahafo of Ghana, and Bechem is the district capital for the Tano South Constituency.
