Agustín Sauto Arana
Agustín Sauto Arana (11 May 1908 – 21 August 1986), known as Bata, was a Spanish footballer who played as a striker. He spent most of his career with Athletic Bilbao, scoring 208 goals in as many matches across all competitions and winning four La Liga championships. He is the only player to have scored 7 goals against Barcelona in a single match. The goals were scored during the 1930/1931 Laliga season in which Bilbao crushed the Catalans 12-1 Club career Born in Barakaldo, Biscay, Bata started his career at hometown club Barakaldo CF. Barakaldo ( es, Baracaldo; eu, Barakaldo ) is a municipality located in the Biscay province in the Basque Country. The Biscay Regional Championship ''(Campeonato Regional de Vizcaya)'', also called the North Regional Championship ''(Campeonato Regional Norte)'' in its early editions, was an official football tournament in Spain organised by the North Football Federation. Pichichi Trophy
In Spanish football, the Trofeo Pichichi is awarded by the sports newspaper '' Marca'' to the top goalscorer of each La Liga season. Named after the Athletic Bilbao striker Rafael "Pichichi" Moreno, the trophy has been awarded annually since the 1952–53 season. All top scorers who preceded the award's creation were retroactively named Pichichi winners by ''Marca''. Since the 2014–15 season, the top scorer of the Liga Iberdrola is also awarded the Pichichi Trophy. The Pichichi is not officially recognised by the league's governing body, the Liga Nacional de Fútbol Profesional. As the award is based on ''Marca''s subjective criteria, its data may differ from the official match delegate reports. Guillermo Gorostiza
Guillermo Gorostiza Paredes (15 February 1909 – 23 August 1966) was a Spanish footballer who played as a forward. In a 14-year professional career, he played for Athletic Bilbao and Valencia, amassing La Liga totals of 255 games and 178 goals and winning 11 major titles with the two teams combined. Gorostiza appeared for Spain at the 1934 World Cup. Club career Athletic Bilbao Gorostiza was born in Santurtzi, Biscay. He played youth football for Chávarri de Sestao and Zugazarte, beginning his senior career with Arenas Club de Getxo and Racing de Ferrol (one season apiece) before signing for Athletic Bilbao in 1929. Ramón de la Fuente Leal, nicknamed Lafuente (31 December 1907 – 15 September 1973) was a Spanish footballer who played as a forward for Athletic Bilbao, Atlético Madrid and the Spanish national team. Club career He was born in Bilbao. Lafuente began his sporting career in the ranks of Barakaldo CF in 1924, at the age of just 16 years old. At Barakaldo, he stood out as an extraordinary forward, which eventually earned him a move to Athletic Bilbao in 1926, with whom he played for nine seasons. In 1928 he was one of the members of the Athletic Bilbao team that played in the first season of the Spanish Football League. Ignacio María Agirrezabala Ibarbia, nicknamed Chirri II (10 May 1909 – 11 September 1979) was a Spanish footballer who played as a forward. He played four times for Spain. Career At club level, he played for Athletic Bilbao for eight seasons, coinciding with the introduction of La Liga in 1929; he won three national titles ( 1929–30, 1930–31, 1933–34), three consecutive Copas del Rey (1930, 1931, 1932, also contributing to a fourth in 1933 although he did not take part in the final) and several editions of the regional Biscay Championship, all before he elected to withdraw from playing at the age of 26. José Iraragorri
José Iraragorri Ealo (16 March 1912 – 27 April 1983), nicknamed "Chato", was a Spanish footballer who played as an inside left. Career Club Born in Basauri, Iraragorri initially played for Athletic Bilbao between 1929 and 1936, during which he won La Liga and the Copa del Rey four times each, as well as five regional championships; he was part of a famed forward line with Chirri II, Guillermo Gorostiza, Lafuente and Bata. His career was interrupted by the Spanish Civil War, and he and his teammates toured Europe as the Basque national side, who then went to Mexico as Club Deportivo Euzkadi. Iraragorri thereafter moved to Argentina's Club Atlético San Lorenzo de Almagro along with fellow Basques Isidro Lángara and Ángel Zubieta, spending two years in Buenos Aires.
