Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono
Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (born 10 August 1978), more commonly referred to as AHY, is an Indonesian politician and former army major who is currently serving as the leader of the Democratic Party of Indonesia. Previously, he worked as military officer in the Indonesian Army from 2000 until 2016. He is the Executive Director of the Yudhoyono Institute and founder of the Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono Foundation. He is the son of former Indonesian president Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, more commonly known as SBY. Born on 10 August 1978, in Bandung, West Java. He graduated from the Indonesian Military Academy in 1999. During his time in the military, he undertook higher formal education. He received a Master of Science in Strategic Studies at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore in 2006, Master in Public Administration from Harvard University, United States in 2010, and Master of Arts in Leadership and Management from Webster University in the United States. The Democratic Party ( id, Partai Demokrat) is a centre to centre-right political party in Indonesia. It was founded on 9 September 2001. Its ideology is based on the Indonesian concept of Pancasila, and identifies as centrist. 2017 Jakarta Gubernatorial Election
Two rounds of a gubernatorial election were held in Jakarta as part of the 2017 Indonesian local elections, 2017 simultaneous elections on 15 February and 19 April 2017 to elect the governor of Jakarta to a five-year term.
