Aguacateros De Peribán F.C.
The Aguacateros de Peribán F.C. is a Mexican football club based in Peribán. The club was founded in 2020, and currently plays in the Liga Premier de México. History The team was founded in 2020, beginning to compete that same year in the Liga TDP. In 2021 and 2022 the team qualified for the final phase of the tournament, although being eliminated in the Round of 16 on both occasions. Due to its good performances in the Liga TDP, Aguacateros de Peribán was able to participate in the first edition of the Copa Conecta, finally on March 8, 2022, the team won the trophy after defeating C.D. Muxes in the penalty shoot-out. Previously the team had eliminated the clubs Gorilas de Juanacatlán, Estudiantes de Querétaro, Tecos and Saltillo Soccer. Avocado

A penalty shoot-out (officially kicks from the penalty mark) is a tie-breaking method in association football to determine which team is awarded victory in a match that cannot end in a draw, when the score is tied after the normal time as well as extra time (if used) have expired. In a penalty shoot-out, each team takes turns shooting at goal from the penalty mark, with the goal defended only by the opposing team's goalkeeper. Each team has five shots which must be taken by different kickers; the team that makes more successful kicks is declared the victor. Shoot-outs finish as soon as one team has an insurmountable lead. If scores are level after five pairs of shots, the shootout progresses into additional " sudden-death" rounds. The Copa Conecta is a Mexican football cup competition that was established in 2021. The cup is played by 32 teams: 12 from the Liga Premier de México and 20 from the Liga TDP. Peribán is a municipality located in the western part of the Mexican state of Michoacán.
