Agni IPS
''Agni IPS'' is a 1997 Indian Kannada-language action film directed by Anand P. Raju, written by R. Selvaraj and produced by Rockline Venkatesh. The film stars Saikumar and Ranjitha, with B. Saroja Devi playing a supporting role. The film has musical score by Ram Chakravarthy, and the cinematography was by J. G. Krishna. The film, upon release, met with hugely positive reviews and catapulted actor Saikumar's career to greater heights. The film's success led the makers to dub the film into Tamil, retaining the same title. Plot Agni is an honest and short-tempered cop, who clashes with Kotwal, a dangerous gangster. While clearing a riot created by Kotwal on the streets, Agni loses his friend Baasha Khan. Agni marries Ranjitha after being stalked and troubled by her. Saikumar Pudipeddi
Pudipeddi Sai Kumar (born 27 July 1960) is an Indian actor, dubbing artist and television presenter who works predominantly in Telugu, Kannada, in addition to a few Tamil films. He has received three state Filmfare Awards South, two Nandi Awards and two SIMA Awards for his work in Telugu and Kannada. His performance in ''Prasthanam'' (2010) featured in the list of the "100 Greatest Performances of the Decade" by ''Film Companion.'' Early and personal life Sai Kumar was born to P. J. Ranjitha (born Sri Valli) is an Indian actress. She has acted in a number of Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu and Kannada films. Career In 1991, Ranjita, did her first Telugu film, under the screen name Madhu Bala ''Kadapa Reddemma''. It was written by Parchuri Brothers. She did her second film that year, Prema Panjaram. Both the films didn't do too well commercially, but after that she did the film ''Nadodi Thendral'', directed by Bharathiraja, which provided her a good platform. Personal life She got married in 2000 to an Indian Army Major and retired from acting after her wedding. The couple got divorced in 2002. Umashree (born 10 May 1957) is an Indian actress and politician. She is known for her portrayal of film roles spoken in the Kannada language (over 400), particularly comic roles.
