Agnes Rothery
Agnes Rothery (1888–1954), or Agnes Edwards Rothery, was the pen name of American writer Agnes (née Edwards) Pratt. Primarily known as a travel writer, she also published novels. The genre of travel literature encompasses outdoor literature, guide books, nature writing, and travel memoirs. One early travel memoirist in Western literature was Pausanias, a Greek geographer of the 2nd century CE. Charlottesville, Virginia
Charlottesville, colloquially known as C'ville, is an independent city in the Commonwealth of Virginia. It is the county seat of Albemarle County, which surrounds the city, though the two are separate legal entities. It is named after Queen Charlotte. At the 2020 census, the population was 46,553.
