Cobra Skulls
Cobra Skulls are an American punk rock band originally from Reno, Nevada, United States, but later based in the San Francisco Bay Area. They have released three studio albums, five Extended play, EPs, and three 7" splits. History Cobra Skulls were formed in Reno, Nevada, in 2005 by Devin Peralta (bass, vocals), Charlie Parker (guitar) and Chad Cleveland (drums). They released an Extended play, EP titled ''Draw Muhammad'' in 2006. The EP caught the attention of Red Scare Industries who signed the band and released their debut album ''Sitting Army'' in 2007. They released a 7" titled ''Never Be a Machine'' in 2008. To promote the album the band went on tour with Against Me!, Mad Caddies, and The Loved Ones (American band), the Loved Ones, opening shows for them. During the 2007 tour the band added a second guitarist, Adam Beck. On August 20, 2008, the band announced they had parted ways with guitarist Charlie Parker. Fat Wreck Chords (pronounced "Fat Records") is a San Francisco, California-based independent record label, focused on punk rock. It was started by NOFX lead singer Michael Burkett (better known as Fat Mike) in 1990. The label has released material for many notable bands including NOFX, Good Riddance, Mad Caddies, Descendents, Me First and the Gimme Gimmes, The Loved Ones, Screeching Weasel, Propagandhi, Rise Against, Lagwagon, Strung Out, No Use for a Name, Frenzal Rhomb, Less Than Jake, Against Me!, Hi-Standard, Snuff, Consumed, Leftöver Crack, and Anti-Flag. Fat Wreck Chords has released 157 studio albums to date. History Fat Mike started his record label Wassail records in 1987. He put out two NOFX records, The PMRC 7” and Liberal Animation in 1988. Jamie McMann
Jamie McMann (born July 20, 1976) is an American record producer, mixer, and audio engineer, currently based in Rochester, New York, United States. Biography Jamie McMann has produced recordings spanning multiple genres of music professionally since 2002 when he began working at San Francisco's historic Hyde Street Studios. After a four-year run with Hyde Street Studios, McMann moved on to produce a significant body of work out of Motor Studios, San Francisco, (owned by Fat Mike, bassist and frontman of the punk rock band NOFX). Utilizing a 64 channel SSL4000E (analog audio console), McMann shaped numerous productions that were released on Fat Mike's record label, Fat Wreck Chords. McMann has recently relocated to Los Angeles where he continues to produce records for various artists and record labels. American Rubicon
''American Rubicon'' is the second full-length album from punk rock band Cobra Skulls. It was digitally released by Red Scare Industries on July 7, 2009, with a physical release following one week later on July 14. It is the band's first release with guitarist Adam Beck, who joined the band in 2008 after the departure of Charlie Parker. The band entered the studio in late March 2009 to record the album. The album was finished and final details were announced on June 15, 2009. The same day, the band posted a new song, titled "H.D.U.I. (Honorary Discharge Under the Influence)", on their Myspace page.
