After Dark (Andy Gibb Album)
''After Dark'' is the third and final studio album by English singer-songwriter Andy Gibb. It features his last US Top 10 single "Desire", " I Can't Help It" (a duet with Olivia Newton-John) and two Bee Gees numbers "Rest Your Love on Me" (also a duet with Olivia Newton-John) and " Warm Ride". Although the album is not currently in print, it was released to music streaming platforms along with the other two Andy Gibb albums in 2011. Overview Around the same time when Barry Gibb was co-writing and recording demos for Barbra Streisand as a guideline to her (the songs are, in Streisand's version, released on ''Guilty''), as drugs impeding his previous ability to write and even fully sing the tracks on his own record, Andy was only able to forge his performance with nearly intrusive support from Barry as he began writing songs for Andy to sing and to include on his next album. Andy Gibb
Andrew Roy Gibb (5 March 1958 – 10 March 1988) was an English singer, songwriter, and actor. He was the younger brother of Barry Gibb, Barry, Robin Gibb, Robin and Maurice Gibb, Maurice, who went on to form the Bee Gees. Gibb came to prominence in the late 1970s through the early 1980s with eight singles reaching the Top 20 of the US Hot 100, three of which went to number-one: "I Just Want to Be Your Everything" (1977), "(Love Is) Thicker Than Water" (1977), and "Shadow Dancing (song), Shadow Dancing" (1978). In the early 1980s, he co-hosted the American music television series ''Solid Gold (TV series), Solid Gold''. ''Guilty'' is the twenty-second studio album by American singer Barbra Streisand released on September 23, 1980, by Columbia Records. It was produced by Barry Gibb of the Bee Gees and his group's regular production team of Albhy Galuten and Karl Richardson. Streisand released a sequel to this album, '' Guilty Pleasures'', in 2005, also produced and largely written by Gibb. Both albums can also be considered partial- collaboration albums, since Streisand not only did two duets with Gibb, but Gibb could also be heard as a background vocalist in a few other songs solely by the artist herself, along with the fact that both singers were on the cover for both albums issued. "All I Have to Do Is Dream" is a song made famous by the Everly Brothers, written by Boudleaux Bryant of the husband-and-wife songwriting team Felice and Boudleaux Bryant, and published in 1958. The Brecker Brothers
The Brecker Brothers were a jazz fusion music duo consisting of siblings Michael and Randy. Michael played saxophone, flute, and EWI, and Randy played trumpet and flugelhorn. The brothers attended Cheltenham High School in Wyncote, Pennsylvania. Randy, the older brother, became famous as an original member of the group Blood, Sweat & Tears.
