Africana is a breed of domesticated sheep (also known as ''Pelona'', ''Camuro'' or ''Camura'', ''Red African'', ''Rojo Africana'', ''Colombian Wooless'', ''West African'') found in Colombia and Venezuela. A breed is a specific group of domestic animals having homogeneous appearance (phenotype), homogeneous behavior, and/or other characteristics that distinguish it from other organisms of the same species. The Pelibüey or es, Cubano Rojo, italic=no is a Cuban breed of domestic sheep. It is found principally in Cuba, where it is the most numerous breed of sheep, but is also reared elsewhere in the Caribbean and in some coastal parts of Mexico.
