Afonso Miguel Castro Vilhena Taira (born 17 June 1992) is a Portuguese professional Association football, footballer who plays for Saudi Arabian club Al-Kholood Club, Al-Kholood as a Midfielder#Defensive midfielder, defensive midfielder. Club career Born in Cascais, Grande Lisboa, Lisbon, Taira joined Sporting CP's youth system in 2006 (aged 14) from neighbouring G.D. Estoril Praia. He made his professional debut in 2011 with Córdoba CF in the Spanish Segunda División, signing a three-year contract but making only three competitive appearances during his 2011–12 Segunda División, only season in Andalusia. In 2012–13 Segunda Liga, 2012–13, Taira returned to his country after being loaned to Atlético Clube de Portugal of the Segunda Liga. The 2014–15 Primeira Liga (also known as Liga NOS for sponsorship reasons) was the 81st season of the Primeira Liga, the top professional league for Portuguese association football clubs. It began on 15 August 2014 and concluded on 23 May 2015. On 17 May 2015, Benfica won their second consecutive and 34th overall title. The Primeira Liga (; English: Premier League, also written as Liga Portugal 1), also known as Liga Portugal Bwin for sponsorship reasons, is the top level of the Portuguese football league system. Organised and supervised by the Liga Portugal, it is contested by 18 teams since the 2014–15 season, with the three lowest placed teams relegated to the Liga Portugal 2 and replaced by the top-three non-reserve teams from this division. 2012–13 Segunda Liga
The 2012–13 Segunda Liga was the 23rd season of the second-tier of football in Portugal. This season marked a series of changes in the league overall. The league's name was changed back to Segunda Liga from the previous Liga de Honra. A total of 22 teams contested the league, up from 16 in the previous season; 14 of which contested the 2011–12 season, two of which were promoted from the Portuguese Second Division (including a reserve team), one of which was relegated from the 2011–12 Primeira Liga, and five of which were new reserve teams of Primeira Liga clubs. The reserve teams were not eligible for promotion to the Primeira Liga.
