Adeyemi Afolayan
Adeyemi Josiah Afolayan (1940–1996) was a Nigerian actor, filmmaker, dramatist, and producer. Early life Afolayan was born in 1940 in Kwara state Nigeria, he was a film actor, director, and producer. He is the brother of actress Toyin Afolayan as well as father to film actors, Kunle Afolayan, Tayo Afolayan, Gabriel Afolayan, Moji Afolayan , and Aremu Afolayan. Career In 1966, Afolayan joined Moses Olaiya's drama troupe, in 1971, he left to establish his own drama group which went on to stage comedic plays. In 1976, he appeared in Ola Balogun's ''Ajani Ogun'' and later produced and starred ''Ija Ominira'' (1979), also directed by Balogun. ''Kadara'', also called ''Destiny'' in English was the first movie he wrote, produced and also starred as leading actor. The movie was shown at the ninth Tashkent film festival for African and Asian cinema. Aremu Afolayan (born 2 August 1980) is a Nigerian film actor and the brother of Kunle Afolayan, a fellow actor. Early life and career Aremu Afolayan is of Igbomina-Yoruba descent, from Kwara State. Gabriel Afolayan, (born 1 March 1985) also known by his musical stage name G-Fresh, is a Nigerian actor and singer. Education He studied theatre arts at the University of Ibadan. Career He is part of the renowned Afolayan entertainment family that comprises Ade Love, Moji Afolayan, Kunle Afolayan and Aremu Afolayan. As an actor, he won the Best Supporting Actor award for playing "Tavier Jambari" in ''Hoodrush'' (2012). As a musician, he is known mostly for "Awelewa" and "Kokoro Ife". Kunle Afolayan (born 30 September 1975) is a Nigerian actor, producer and director. He is widely credited for elevating the quality of Nollywood movies though larger budgets, shooting on 35mm, releasing in cinemas, and improving cliché Nollywood storylines. Moji Afolayan
Moji Afolayan (born 5 February 1968) is a Nigerian actress, filmmaker, producer, and director. Early life Afolayan hails from Agbamu, a town in Irepodun Local Government area of Kwara State southwestern Nigeria but grew up in Lagos State. She was born in an acting family, the first daughter of the late veteran actor and producer Ade Love who is also the father of Kunle Afolayan and Gabriel Afolayan. Afoloyan attended Coker Primary School at Orile Iganmu, a city in Lagos State south-western Nigeria before she proceeded to Esie Iludun Anglican School where she obtained the West Africa School certificate. Oladapo Joshua Afolayan (born 11 September 1997) is an English professional footballer who plays as a winger or centre-forward for 2. Bundesliga club FC St. Pauli. He spent his youth at a multitude of clubs: Harrow St Marys, Chelsea, Toronto FC, Barnet, Tooting & Mitcham United and Toronto Varsity Blues. He left the Chelsea academy in order to concentrate on his GCSEs. He moved to Canada with his family but returned to England to study civil engineering at Loughborough University.
