Shantipath
Shantipath, also written as Shanti Path, is the main road in the diplomatic enclave of Chanakyapuri, New Delhi, India. In Hindi language, its name means "Peace Road". Shantipath is surrounded by green landscape on its either side. A number of foreign embassies in the Indian capital are located on this road. The diplomatic enclave of Chanakyapuri was built in 1950's, few years after India gained independence. This road is heavily guarded, but remains open for public transport. Abdul Zahir (Afghan Prime Minister)
Abdul Zahir (3 May 1910 – 21 October 1982) was Prime Minister of Afghanistan in the early 1970s, during the reign of King Zahir Shah. An ethnic Pashtun, he attended secondary school in Kabul and university in the United States, earning an MD from Columbia University and a Master's degree in public health from Johns Hopkins University. Zahir became a medical doctor and returned to Afghanistan to practice medicine, but eventually entered politics. His political positions included terms as Minister of Health, Speaker of House of the People from 1961 to 1968, and Ambassador to Italy and Pakistan. Most prominently, he served as Prime Minister of Afghanistan from June 1971 to December 1972. A few months after resigning, King Zahir Shah was overthrown and Abdul Zahir retired from politics. Shaida Mohammad Abdali ( ps, شیدا محمد ابدالی, born on 8 November 1978 in Kandahar) is the List of ambassadors of Afghanistan to Japan, Afghan Ambassador to Japan. He was formerly the Afghan Ambassador to India from 2012 to 2018. Early life and education Abdali was born on 8 November 1978 in Kandahar. Masood Khalili
Masoud Khalili, also Massoud Khalili and Masud Khalili ( fa, مسعود خلیلی; born 5 November 1950) is an Afghan diplomat, linguist and poet. Khalili is the son of the famous Persian language and Afghan poet laureate, Ustad Khalilullah Khalili. In the war against the Soviets from 1980 to 1990, he was the political head of the Jamiat-e Islami Party of Afghanistan and close advisor to Commander Ahmad Shah Massoud. In the internal conflict that followed, he chose to be the Special Envoy in Pakistan to President Burhannudin Rabbani. Deported from the same country for his high rank in the Northern Alliance, he went to New Delhi in 1996 as the Ambassador of the Afghanistan (Anti-Taliban) where he stayed for many years.
