Transeuropa was a charter airline from Spain that operated from 1965 until 1982. Company history Trans-Europa Companía de Aviación SA was founded in July 1965 and began operations two months later using a single Douglas DC-7 for ''ad hoc'' charters, both passenger and freight, from its base at Palma de Mallorca. Later, it purchased DC-4s for freighter operations. It was during 1969 that the SE 210 Caravelle was introduced into the fleet. The Sud Aviation SE 210 Caravelle is a French jet airliner produced by Sud Aviation. It was developed by SNCASE in the early 1950s and made its maiden flight on 27 May 1955.
