Aerolíneas Federales
Aerolíneas Federales was a Spanish pop/rock band from the decade of the 1980s. It was formed in Vigo, Galicia. History Formed in Vigo in 1981 by Miguel Costas and his friends Flechi and Silvino. In the beginning, they played guitar, bass and beatbox. By 1983, the group incorporated a drum-kit and Flechi became the singer of the band. That same year, they won the rock contest of Radio 3 at Coruña and Flechi left the band to join the group Las Termitas. Flechi died from a heart-attack in London in 2002. The next line-up was composed by Miguel Costas, Silvino, Luis and the girls Coral and Rosa, making songs with powerful guitars and fun and surreal lyrics. Pop/rock
Pop rock (also typeset as pop/rock) is a fusion genre with an emphasis on professional songwriting and recording craft, and less emphasis on attitude than rock music. Originating in the late 1950s as an alternative to normal rock and roll, early pop rock was influenced by the beat, arrangements, and original style of rock and roll (and sometimes doo-wop). Killer Barbies
The Killer Barbies is a Spanish punk rock band fronted by singer/guitarist Silvia Superstar. After some success in Spain on the independent label Toxic Records, they got an international distribution through the German label Drakkar Records in 2000. The band also starred in a series of two films directed by the prolific exploitation film director Jesús Franco: ''Killer Barbys'' (1996) and ''Killer Barbys vs. Dracula'' (2003). Biography Silvia Superstar (real name: Silvia García Pintos) and Billy King (real name: Antonio Domínguez) formed The Killer Barbies in 1994 and quickly began releasing their material on the Spanish independent label Toxic Records.
