Adventure Isle (Disneyland Paris)
Adventure Isle is an artificial island in the center of Adventureland at Disneyland Paris. It opened with the park in 1992. Summary Adventure Isle is divided into two smaller islands: Northern Island This island is home to ''La Cabane des Robinson'' (''Swiss Family Treehouse)''. This iteration of the attraction was given a more detailed environment. For example, under the tree guests can explore ''Le Ventre de la Terre'' (The Earth's Belly), a network of dark caves filled with roots from the tree above, which the Swiss Family uses as cellar. It is themed to resemble the remote jungles in Africa, Asia, South America, Oceania and the Caribbean. Captain Hook
Captain James Hook is a fictional character and the main antagonist of J. M. Barrie's 1904 play ''Peter Pan; or, the Boy Who Wouldn't Grow Up'' and its various adaptations, in which he is Peter Pan's archenemy. The character is a pirate captain of the brig ''Jolly Roger.'' His two principal fears are the sight of his own blood (supposedly an unnatural colour) and the crocodile who pursues him after eating the hand cut off by Pan. Swiss Family Treehouse is a walk-through attraction featured at several Walt Disney Parks and Resorts, located at Magic Kingdom, Tokyo Disneyland and Disneyland Park in Disneyland Paris. The walk-through attraction is centered on a giant treehouse where everyone can hear and see various scenes based on the 1960 Disney film ''Swiss Family Robinson''.
