Adrián MarÃn Lugo (born 13 May 1994) is a Mexican professional footballer who plays as a forward. Playing career MarÃn started his career in the San Luis youth system, even leading the U20 league in scoring. He finally made his first team debut on March 18, 2012, against Puebla in a league match, coming on as a substitute in the 84th minute for Wilmer Aguirre. He went on, making five more league appearances, all as late substitutes. MarÃn was loaned out to Lobos BUAP of Ascenso MX on May 31, 2013, and he went on to making 20 league appearances, all but two as part of the starting lineup. The 2013 Apertura season saw him make plenty appearances with no goals. However, he scored his first league goal in the 7th minute of a 2–1 victory against Zacatepec on January 4, 2014, the first week of the 2014 Clausura. Ascenso MX
Ascenso MX was the second tier of professional football in Mexico of the Mexican football league system. The champion of the competition was promoted to Liga MX (top-flight tier). The bottom team was relegated to Liga Premier (the third tier). It was sponsored by BBVA through its Mexican subsidiary BBVA, and was officially known as Ascenso BBVA MX. Formerly known as Primera División A (First Division A) the league rebranded in 2009 its name and competition format to Liga de Ascenso. It was rebranded in 2012 as Ascenso MX. The 2020–21 Liga de Balompié Mexicano season was the 1st professional season of the most important league of competitions organized by the Asociación Nacional del Balompié Mexicano, a Mexican football federation affiliated with CONIFA. Liga de Balompié Mexicano is one of the professional football leagues in Mexico. It is the first division of the league system of the National Association of Mexican Football (ANBM in Spanish).
