Adrián Hernández (boxer)
Adrián Hernández (born January 10, 1986) is a Mexican former professional boxer who competed from 2006 to 2015. He is a two-time world champion, having held the WBC light flyweight title twice between 2011 and 2014. Professional career On February 9, 2008, Hernández knocked out Rodel Mayol. In March 2008, Hernández knocked out former WBC Light Flyweight Champion Gilberto Keb Baas. On May 8, 2010 Hernández beat the veteran Jose Guadalupe Martinez, to win NABF Light Flyweight Championship. Winning the WBC Light Flyweight Championship Hernández defeated the WBC Light Flyweight Champion Gilberto Keb Baas by doctor stoppage after the 10th of 12 rounds on April 30, 2011, to win the title. He then defeated Gideon Buthelezi by second-round knockout on September 24, 2011, to retain the title. Light flyweight, also known as junior flyweight or super strawweight, is a weight class in boxing. Professional boxing The weight limit at light flyweight in professional boxing is 108 pounds (49 kilograms). When New York legalized boxing in 1920, the law stipulated a "junior flyweight" class, with a weight limit of 99 pounds. When the National Boxing Association was formed in 1921, it also recognized this weight class. However, on January 19, 1922, the NBA decided to withdraw recognition of the junior flyweight division. On December 31, 1929, the New York State Athletic Commission also abolished the junior flyweight class. No champion had been crowned in this division prior to its abolition. Texcoco, México
Texcoco de Mora () is a city located in the State of Mexico, 25 km northeast of Mexico City. Texcoco de Mora is the municipal seat of the municipality of Texcoco. In the pre-Hispanic era, this was a major Aztec city on the shores of Lake Texcoco. After the Conquest, the city was initially the second most important after Mexico City, but its importance faded over time, becoming more rural in character. Saúl Juárez Gil (born 28 November 1990) is a Mexican professional boxer who challenged for the WBC strawweight title in 2016 and the WBC light-flyweight title in 2018.
