Adriana Sachs
Adriana María Sachs (born 25 December 1993) is an Argentine professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Racing Club and the Argentina women's national team. Club career After playing for Huracán and UAI Urquiza in her home country, Sachs moved to Spanish Segunda División Pro side UD Collerense in July 2020. After playing in just two matches, she returned to Argentina in the following year, with Boca Juniors. On 15 January 2023, after being a regular starter in Boca's 2022 Copa Libertadores Femenina runner-up campaign, Sachs was announced at Brazilian club Santos. On 21 July 2023, she and her compatriot Eliana Stábile were released by the club. Sachs came back to Argentina and on 13 August 2023 signed with Racing Club. Libertad is a city located in Merlo Partido, Buenos Aires Province, Argentina. It forms part of the Greater Buenos Aires urban conurbation. Football at the South American Games is the football tournament of the South American Games (also known as "Juegos Odesur"). Olympic/youth teams from South America have participated in it throughout its history. During the first 2 editions (1978 and 1982) they were known as the Cruz del Sur Games, between 1998 and 2006 the football tournament was not played, instead a futsal tournament was organized. In the first edition (1978) U-20 teams participated, while in the following ones (1982 and 1986) U-19 teams participated, for the 1990 tournament, the football section was played by U-20 teams preparing to the 1991 South American championship. The Primera División A is the main league competition for women's football in Argentina. The tournament is ruled by the Argentine Football Association (AFA), with its first season held in 1991. The women's football tournament at the 2015 Pan American Games in Toronto, Canada was held at the Hamilton Pan Am Soccer Stadium in Hamilton from July 11 to 25. For the football competition in these Games, the women competed in an eight-team tournament. The teams were grouped into two pools of four teams each for a round-robin preliminary round. The top two teams in each group advanced to a single elimination bracket. The women’s competition was an open-age competition with no age restrictions. The 2012 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup was the 6th edition of the tournament. The tournament was played in Japan from 19 August to 8 September, with sixteen national football soccer teams and mark the first hosting of a FIFA women's football tournament in the country. The host nation were to be decided on 19 March 2010 but was postponed by FIFA to give bidders more time to prepare their bids. On 3 March 2011 FIFA initially awarded the World Cup to Uzbekistan. However, on 18 December 2011 FIFA had the tournament stripped from this country for problems with the bid and named Japan as a possible host. Eliana Noemí Stábile (born 26 November 1993) is an Argentine professional footballer who plays as a left-back for Brazilian Série A1 club Santos FC and the Argentina women's national team. She is not related to Argentinian football legend Guillermo Stábile.
