Adrian Marcu
Adrian Marcu (born 3 December 1961) is a former professional tennis player from Romania. Biography Marcu, a right-handed player from Hunedoara, began touring professionally in the early 1980s. Competing on the Grand Prix circuit, he was a doubles quarter-finalist at Viña del Mar in 1982 and made his only singles main draw appearance at the 1987 Mercedes Cup held in Stuttgart. In 1988 he won a Challenger title in doubles at Sofia. As a Romanian representative he won a bronze medal in doubles at the 1983 Summer Universiade and appeared in a total of 12 Davis Cup ties for his country, including a World Group relegation play-off against West Germany in 1984. He is a former coach of Simona Halep. In September 2021 he was reappointed as her coach, to work alongside Daniel Dobre, after the departure of Darren Cahill. Hunedoara
Hunedoara (; german: Eisenmarkt; hu, Vajdahunyad ) is a municipiu, city in Hunedoara County, Transylvania, Romania. It is located in southwestern Transylvania near the Poiana Ruscă Mountains, and administers five villages: Boș (''Bós''), Groș (''Grós''), Hășdat (''Hosdát''; ''Hochstätten''), Peștișu Mare (''Alpestes'') and Răcăștia (''Rákosd''). The city includes the most important Gothic architecture, Gothic-style secular building in Transylvania: the Hunyad Castle, which is closely connected with the Hunyadi family. The castle was destroyed by fire five times, but underwent many reconstructions from Austro-Hungarian and later Romanian authorities. The Florentine florin was a gold coin struck from 1252 to 1533 with no significant change in its design or metal content standard during that time. It had 54 grains (3.499 grams, 0.113 troy ounce) of nominally pure or 'fine' gold with a purchasing power difficult to estimate (and variable) but ranging according to social grouping and perspective from approximately 140 to 1,000 modern US dollars. Richard Vogel (born 13 August 1964) is a former professional tennis player from the Czech Republic who competed for Czechoslovakia. Career Vogel played in the singles draw of two Grand Slams during his career and lost five set matches in both opening rounds, at the 1989 French Open (to Aaron Krickstein) and the 1991 Wimbledon Championships (to Jacco Eltingh). His loss to Eltingh set a Wimbledon record, as it was the first occasion that four tie breaks had been played in a single match. As a men's doubles player he was also unable to make it past the first round, in four attempts. On the ATP Tour he had his best result in 1992, at the Croatia Open, where he was the doubles champion, with David Prinosil. Jaroslav Bulant (born 21 April 1964) is a Czech former professional tennis player. Biography Bulant was born in Třebíč and based in Jihlava when he turned professional in 1986. In 1988 he won a Challenger title in Zurich and made his first Grand Prix appearance, at the Prague Open. He reached his career best ranking of 142 in 1989, a year he appeared at five Grand Prix tournaments and won a further Challenger title in Nicosia. In 1994, by then competing on the ATP Tour, Bulant upset the world's 20th ranked player at the Colombia Open, Carlos Costa, who was also the top seed. Since retiring he has worked as a coach. In 2005 he coached Lucie Šafářová and in 2008 was coach of Dominik Hrbatý.
