Adrian Gheorghiu
Adrian Ion Gheorghiu (born 30 November 1981) is a Romanian professional footballer who plays for Liga IV-Bacău County side Viitorul Curița. He is a right footed and plays as a left winger, but lately he played as a right winger. He is a technical skilled player, one of the few Romanian players with this skills. Club career He started his career in the 3rd Romanian division Laminorul Roman, where he played until 2002. He attracted interest, since then because of his skills. After a short spell in Dărmăneşti, he signed with the Liga II Romanian side Petrolul Moineşti, where he stayed for almost a year. He was one of the top scorers, and he brought attention from the Liga I teams. FCM Bacău He signed a four-year contract with FCM Bacău in the 2004 summer. Roman, Romania
Roman () is a city located in the central part of Western Moldavia, a traditional region of Romania. It is located 46 km east of Piatra Neamț, in Neamț County at the confluence of the rivers Siret and Moldova. Its name was taken from Moldavian Voivode Roman I of Moldavia. 2010–11 Liga I
The 2010–11 Liga I was the ninety-third season of the top-level football league of Romania. The season commenced on 23 July 2010 and ended on 21 May 2011. A winter break where no matches were played was held between 11 December 2010 and 18 February 2011. A total of eighteen teams participated in the league, where CFR Cluj were the defending champions. Teams Politehnica Iași, Ceahlăul Piatra Neamț and Unirea Alba Iulia were relegated to Liga II after finishing the 2009–10 season in the bottom three places. 2009–10 Liga I
The 2009–10 Liga I was the ninety-second season of Liga I, the top-level football league of Romania. Unirea Urziceni were the defending champions. Teams Farul Constanța, Otopeni and Gloria Buzău were relegated at the end of the 2008–09 season. They were joined by Argeș Pitești, who were demoted upon a decision of the Professional Football League on 8 July 2009, after their owner, Cornel Penescu, was found guilty of corruption. As a consequence, 15th-placed Gaz Metan Mediaș were spared relegation. The four relegated teams were replaced by the champions and runners-up from both 2008–09 Liga II divisions. Ceahlăul Piatra Neamț and Ploiești were promoted from Seria I while Unirea Alba Iulia and Internațional Curtea de Argeș were promoted from Seria II. The 2007–08 Liga I was the ninety season of Liga I, the top-level football league of Romania. Season began on 27 July 2007 and ended on 7 May 2008. CFR Cluj became champions, winning their first trophy and ending a 17-year-long reign of Bucharest based teams. CFR Cluj will play in the Champions League group stage, while Steaua București qualified for the Champions League third qualifying round. Rapid București, Dinamo București, Unirea Urziceni and Politehnica Știința Timișoara qualified for the UEFA Cup first round. The highest placed team that has not qualified for the UEFA Cup is allowed the opportunity to compete in the third round of the UEFA Intertoto Cup, provided they have applied to enter the Intertoto Cup in the next season. 2006–07 Liga I
The 2006–07 Liga I was the eighty-ninth season of Liga I, the top-level football league of Romania. Season began on 28 July 2006 and ended on 23 May 2007. Teams Eighteen teams played in the 2006–07 season. Four teams were from Moldova, four clubs from Transylvania, one from Dobruja and nine from Wallachia four of them coming from the country's capital city Bucharest. Pandurii Târgu Jiu had been relegated at the end of the previous season but they re-entered Liga I at the expense of Sportul Studenţesc which has been relegated to Liga II due to financial problems. They relegated together with FC Bacău, who finished 16th last season. SC Vaslui
CS Sporting Juniorul Vaslui (), commonly known as Sporting Vaslui, Juniorul Vaslui or simply as Vaslui, is a Romanian professional football club based in Vaslui, Vaslui County, founded in 2002 and re-founded in 2014. The club is currently playing in the Liga II and the official club colours are yellow and green, hence the nickname "the Yellow and Greens".
