Adriaan Carelse
Adriaan John Carelse (born 8 February 1995) is a South African rugby union player for the Dallas Jackals of Major League Rugby (MLR). His regular position is fly-half of fullback. He previously played for Rugby ATL in the MLR. He previously played for the in the Pro14, the in the Currie Cup and the in the Rugby Challenge. Rugby career 2013–2014 : Western Province Carelse was born in Somerset West. He attended and played rugby for Hottentots Holland High School, captaining their first team in 2013. Somerset West
Somerset West ( af, Somerset-Wes) is a town in the Western Cape, South Africa. Organisationally and administratively it is included in the City of Cape Town metropolitan municipality as a suburb of the Helderberg region (formerly called Hottentots Holland). Malmesbury, Western Cape
Malmesbury is a town of approximately 36,000 inhabitants in the Western Cape province of South Africa, about 65 km north of Cape Town. The town is the largest in the Swartland (‘black land’) which took its name from the Renosterbos ('rhino bush'), an indigenous plant that turns black in the warm, dry summers. The area is especially known for its grain and wine cultivation as well as sheep and poultry farming. Malmesbury was named after Sir Lowry Cole's father-in-law, the Earl of Malmesbury. Settlers were encouraged to make their homes here because of a tepid sulphur chloride mineral spring that was renowned for curing rheumatism. The first farms were allocated in 1703. 2009 Currie Cup Premier Division
The 2009 Absa Currie Cup Premier Division season was the 71st season in the competition since it started in 1889. The competition was contested from 10 July through to 31 October. It was won by the Blue Bulls, who defeated the Free State Cheetahs 36-24 in the final at Loftus Versfeld. The Boland Cavaliers, who finished bottom of the Premier Division, were relegated after losing their promotion-relegation playoff to the First Division Champions, the Pumas, while the Leopards, who finished second from bottom in the Premier Division, narrowly retained their place in the top division after defeating the South Western District Eagles in the other playoff. Brent Janse Van Rensburg
Brent Janse van Rensburg (born ) is a South African rugby union coach, currently the defence coach for Bath Rugby in the English Premiership. Career He started his career at the South African Rugby Institute in Stellenbosch, also coaching at Paul Roos Gymnasium, before moving to Queenstown to become the Head of Rugby at Queen's College. He coached Border's Craven Week team for two years – winning eight of his nine matches in charge of the side – before also getting involved with the Currie Cup and Vodacom Cup teams. He became Technical Director and head coach at Alan Zondagh's Rugby Performance Centre in Riebeek Valley.
