Admire is a city in Lyon County, Kansas, United States. As of the 2020 census, the population of the city was 130. History Admire was founded in 1886. It was named for one of its founders, Jacob Admire. The first post office in Admire was established in November 1886. Admire was a station and shipping point on the Missouri Pacific Railroad. By the mid 1990s, rail service in Admire had been discontinued, and the tracks are now being used as a rail trail. Admire's current acting mayor is Robert Reust. Admir Vladavić (born 29 June 1982) is a Bosnian retired professional footballer who played as a winger. Club career Born in Ljubinje, Vladavić's career began in a small club Iskra Stolac, which consisted mainly of refugees from Stolac who lived in Mostar during the Bosnian War. He was spotted there by Velež Mostar and soon signed a contract. Although he was one of the youngest members of the club, Vladavić became a regular first team choice. His speed and good technical abilities made him interesting for other Bosnian clubs. Admir Teli (born 2 June 1981) is an Albanian retired professional footballer who played as a defender. He spent most of his career in Albania and Azerbaijan, where he collected more than 400 appearances by representing Vllaznia Shkodër and Qarabağ, winning six major trophies in the process. Playing career Softić was born in Sarajevo. started his career with Cork City F.C., Cork City in Ireland in 2003, having moved there from his native country Bosnia and Herzegovina. Admir Adrović (; born 8 May 1988) is a Montenegrin football forward who plays for FK Podgorica. Club career He started his career at FK Berane, breaking into the first-team in 2005. In 2007, he joined Sutjeska Nikšić. After a loan spell at S.C. Damash he joined FK Budućnost Podgorica on a free transfer.
