Administrative Divisions Of Khmelnytskyi Oblast
The administrative divisions of Khmelnytskyi Oblast ( uk, Хмельницька область) follows the general scheme of the administrative divisions of Ukraine, administrative divisions in Ukraine. It is subdivided into districts (''raions'') which are subdivided into territorial communities (''hromadas''). As Ukraine is a unitary state, any changes to the administrative divisions have to be approved by the Verkhovna Rada. The oblast was established on September 22, 1937, as the "Kamianets-Podilskyi Oblast" to replace the Kamianets Okruha and other neighboring administrative regions in the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic. Its Administrative centre, administrative center was moved from Kamianets-Podilskyi to Proskuriv in 1941, and when Proskuriv's name was changed to Khmelnytskyi, Ukraine, Khmelnytskyi, the oblast's name was changed as well. Bilohiria
Bilohiria ( uk, Білогір'я); formerly known as Liakhivtsi) is an urban-type settlement in Shepetivka Raion, Khmelnytskyi Oblast, western Ukraine. It hosts the administration of Bilohiria settlement hromada, one of the hromadas of Ukraine. Bilohiria Raion ( uk, Білогірський район) was a raion in Khmelnytskyi Oblast in Ukraine. Its administrative center was the urban-type settlement of Bilohiria. City of regional significance ( uk, місто обласного значення, ''misto oblasnoho znachennia'') in Ukraine was a type of second-level administrative division or municipality, the other type being raions (districts).
