''Adimakal Udamakal'' () is a 1987 Indian Malayalam-language political film directed by I. V. Sasi and written by T. Damodaran, starring Mammootty, Mohanlal, Nalini and Seema. Ratheesh, Mukesh, Urvashi, Jagathi Sreekumar, Captain Raju, Lissy, Sukumari and Santhakumari plays supporting roles. Plot It is a political film on trade union and its functioning in factories. Trade Union is headed by Raghavan (Mammootty). Mill Owner brings new manager Mohan Cheriyan (Mohanlal) to solve the company's issues with trade union leaders. Meanwhile, Indu, Mill Owner's sister is attracted to Mohan. Nexus between politicians and factory owners dumping workers for their selfish deeds is also highlighted. When the company is about to lay off due to union problems, Raghavan suggests a new formula for solving the company issues and this saves the company. The issue is resolved. Raju Mathew
Raju Mathew ( – 12 November 2019) was an Indian film producer from Kerala. He produced 45 films. He was the owner of Century Films. Biography Mathew worked in an insurance company before coming to the film arena. Later he gave up the job and established Century Films in 1979. Then he began to produce films. He produced mainly Malayalam films. Besides Malayalam films he also produced a Hindi film titled ''Anokha Rishta''. ''Athiran'' was the last film which was produced by him. He was the president of the Kerala Film Chamber of Commerce. Mathew was married to Lily Mathew. Anjana Jacob and Ranjana Mathew are their daughters. Mathew died on 12 November 2019 at the age of 82. Actress Ann Augustine is his daughter. Personal Life Augustine was born on 30 July 1955 to Kunnumpurath Mathew and Rosi at Kodencheri, Kozhikode. Jagannatha Varma
K. N. Jagannatha Varma (1 May 1939 – 20 December 2016) was an Indian actor who worked in Malayalam film and television industry. He was also a Kathakali artist. His son Manu Varma is also an artist and his son-in-law Viji Thampi is a film director. He acted in a number of Malayalam movies performing stereotypical roles of a senior police officer, judge or a priest.
