''Adharmam'' () is a 1994 Indian Tamil-language action film directed by Ramesh Balakrishnan. The film stars Murali, Ranjitha and Nassar. The film had musical score by Ilaiyaraaja and was released on 14 April 1994, Puthandu (Tamil New Year). V. Manikandan debuted as cinematographer from this film. Ramesh Balakrishnan
Ramesh Balakrishnan is an Indian film director and television producer who has worked on Tamil films and serials. Career Ramesh Balakrishnan graduated with an English literature degree, before going on to take a film making course at the Film and Television Institute of Chennai. He began his directorial career with the film ''Adharmam'' (1994) featuring Murali and Ranjitha in the lead roles, where cinematographer V. Manikandan also made his debut. His second film ''Pagaivan'' (1997) starring Ajith Kumar and Sathyaraj released three years later, with the makers experiencing delays after they fell out with the lead actress Anjala Zhaveri. He then went on to make the action drama ''Thadayam'' (1997), and took a break before making the horror film ''Adhu'' (2004), which starred Sneha in the lead role. Murali (Tamil Actor)
S. D. Murali (19 May 1964 – 8 September 2010) was an Indian actor who appeared in Kannada and Tamil films. He was famous for roles that portrayed him as a perceptive singer or a tragic lover. His son, Atharvaa, debuted as an actor in the 2010 film ''Baana Kaathadi''. Early life Murali was born on 19 May 1964 in Bangalore to a Kannadiga father and Tamil mother. Murali had two siblings; a younger brother S.D.Suresh and a sister Santhi. He lived and studied up to his 5th Standard in Chennai, and from 6th Standard to 10th Standard he studied in Bangalore. Ranjitha
Ranjitha (born Sri Valli) is an Indian actress. She has acted in a number of Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu and Kannada films. Career In 1991, Ranjita, did her first Telugu film, under the screen name Madhu Bala ''Kadapa Reddemma''. It was written by Parchuri Brothers. She did her second film that year, Prema Panjaram. Both the films didn't do too well commercially, but after that she did the film ''Nadodi Thendral'', directed by Bharathiraja, which provided her a good platform. Personal life She got married in 2000 to an Indian Army Major and retired from acting after her wedding. The couple got divorced in 2002. Tiruchirapalli Srinivasan Rangarajan, professionally credited by his pseudonym Vaali (born 29 October 1931 – 18 July 2013) was an Indian poet who is the highest songs wrote lyricist in cinema and whose works were in Tamil, had a five-decade long association with the Tamil film industry, wrote over 15,000 songs.
