Adem Poric
Adem Poric (born 22 April 1973) is a soccer coach and former professional Association football, player, who is the chief executive and the head coach of Gold Coast Knights SC, as well as the president of youth academy side Magic United. As a player, he was a midfielder from 1992 to 2002 and most notably played in the Premier League for Sheffield Wednesday F.C., Sheffield Wednesday. He also spent time in England playing in the Football League with Southend United F.C., Southend United, Rotherham United F.C., Rotherham United and Notts County F.C., Notts County as well as Australian sides St George FC, St George Saints, Sydney Olympic, Northern Spirit FC and City of Gold Coast. Born in England, he was capped twice by Australia national under-20 football team, Australia U20. Gold Coast Knights Football Club is a professional soccer club based in Carrara, Queensland, Australia. The Croatian Australian backed club play in the National Premier Leagues Queensland, the top flight of the Football Queensland administrative division and the second flight of the Australian soccer league system. The club has won one National Premier Leagues Queensland championship, along with a variety of regional honours. Gold Coast Knights was established in 1978, with the first senior team fielded within the Gold Coast's second division in 1979. The club originally played at Musgrave Hill until 1982, where since the club has played at the Croatian Sports Centre in the suburb of Carrara. Trevor Francis
Trevor John Francis (born 19 April 1954) is an English former footballer who played as a forward for a number of clubs in England, the United States, Italy, Scotland and Australia. In 1979 he became Britain's first £1 million player following his transfer from Birmingham City to Nottingham Forest. He scored the winning goal for Forest in the 1979 European Cup final against Malmö. He won the European Cup again with the club the following year. At international level, he played for England 52 times between 1976 and 1986, scoring 12 goals, and played at the 1982 FIFA World Cup. Between 1988 and 2003 he was a football manager, most notably with Sheffield Wednesday and Birmingham City. His final managerial post was at Crystal Palace, whom he left in 2003. Sheffield Wednesday Football Club is a professional association football club based in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, England. The team competes in League One, the third tier of the English football league system. Formed in 1867 as an offshoot of The Wednesday Cricket Club (itself formed in 1820), they were known as The Wednesday Football Club until 1929.
