Adele Lim
Adele Lim is a Malaysian American film and television producer and screenwriter. She is best known as a screenwriter for the 2018 movie ''Crazy Rich Asians (film), Crazy Rich Asians''. She has given support to young writers as mentor and speaker for the Coalition of Asian Pacifics in Entertainment (CAPE). Early life Lim was born in Malaysia and is of Malaysian Chinese descent. She attended SMK (P) Sri Aman, Malaysia's Sri Aman Girls School in Petaling Jaya. She started writing as a teenager and undergraduate in the lifestyle section of a local daily. She graduated from Emerson College in Boston, Massachusetts with a degree in TV/Film in 1996. The Writers Guild of America West (WGAW) is a labor union representing film, television, radio, and new media writers. It was formed in 1954 from five organizations representing writers, including the Screen Writers Guild. It has around 20,000 members. History The Screen Writers Guild (SWG) was formed in 1921 by a group of ten screenwriters in Hollywood angered over wage reductions announced by the major film studios. The group affiliated with the Authors Guild in 1933 and began representing TV writers in 1948. In 1954, the SWG was one of five groups who merged to represent professional writers on both coasts and became the Writers Guild of America, East (WGAe) and West (WGAw). Howard J. The Digital Monster is a digital pet created by WiZ and Bandai that spawned the ''Digimon'' franchise. It was released by Bandai on June 26, 1997 in Japan and on December 5, 1997 in North America. This pet was a masculine counterpart to the Tamagotchi, which was deemed more appropriate for girls. It was similar to earlier virtual pets with the distinctions of being a fighting pet that could connect with others like it. The original Digital Monster model that was released in 1997 sold units worldwide, including in Japan and overseas, up until March 2004. By 2005, more than Digital Monster units had been sold worldwide. In 2017, a 20th anniversary edition was released in Japan which allows the owner to choose from any of the eggs from the first five versions of the original toy, as well as several new ones unlocked through various methods.
