Adel Gholami
Adel Gholami ( fa, عادل غلامی, born 9 February 1986 in Amol) is a volleyball player from Iran, who plays as a middle blocker for the Iran men's national team and the club Haraz Amol. Gholami competed at the Rio 2016 Summer Olympics. Career National team He was invited to national team in 2008. Gholami playing in two World Championship 2010, 2014. They won the gold medals at the Asian Volleyball Championship and the 2014 Asian Games. Clubs Adel Gholami started playing volleyball in Amol. He started his career in his hometown volleyball club Abfa Amol. He has played for Narenjestan Noor, Sanam Tehran, Paykan Tehran, Pegah Urmia and Saipa. 2010 FIVB Volleyball Men's World Championship
The 2010 FIVB Volleyball Men's World Championship was held in Italy from 25 September to 10 October 2010. The tournament featured 24 teams to determine the world champions in men's volleyball. In addition to 2006 champion Brazil and host nation Italy, 22 teams qualified for the tournament by means of continental and regional competitions. The matches took place in ten venues across ten Italian cities, with the final being held at the PalaLottomatica, Rome. The tournament was won by Brazil, who beat Cuba in final. Brazil won their third straight world championship having won previously in 2002 and 2006. The podium was completed by Serbia who defeated Italy in the 3rd place match. 2018 Asian Men's Club Volleyball Championship
The 2018 Asian Men's Club Volleyball Championship was the 19th edition of the Asian Men's Club Volleyball Championship, an annual international volleyball club tournament organised by the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) with Myanmar Volleyball Federation (MVF). The tournament was held in Naypyidaw, Myanmar from 30 July to 6 August 2018. The champions qualified for the 2018 FIVB Volleyball Men's Club World Championship instead of the 2017 champions Sarmayeh Bank Tehran, who withdrew from the 2018 Club World Championship. The 2017 Asian Men's Club Volleyball Championship was the 18th staging of the AVC Club Championships. The tournament was held in Ninh Bình and Nam Định, Vietnam from 28 June to 6 July 2017. Iranian Volleyball Super League
The Iranian Volleyball Super League (IVSL) is a professional volleyball league in Iran at the top of the Iranian volleyball league system. It was founded in 1975 as the Pasargad Cup, but after the Iranian Revolution it was renamed to the first Division. In 1997 the league system was revamped and the Iranian Super League was established. Paykan Tehran has won the most titles in the new Super League with 12 titles. History The first season of a national Iranian volleyball league was held in 1975 with 12 teams competing. Asian Men's Club Volleyball Championship
The Asian Men's Club Volleyball Championship, previously the AVC Cup Men's Club Tournament (between 1999–2002), is an annual continental club volleyball competition organised by the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC), the sport's continental governing body. The competition was first contested in 1999 in China. It was not held in 2003 and 2020 due to 2002–2004 SARS outbreak and COVID-19 pandemic respectively.
