Adekagagwaa
Adekagagwaa is a Haudenosaunee sun deity. He is also associated with summer. Adekagagwaa was said to have control over several weather gods, including Gǎ-oh, the wind god, Hé-no Hé-no is a thunder spirit of the Iroquois and Seneca people, Seneca people. He is also known as Heno, Hino, Hinu or Hinun. Hé-no lives in the cloud of the far west, and has rainbow as his wife, and is accompanied by the eagles Keneu and Oshadag ..., the god of thunder and storm, and Gohone, the god of winter. Every winter, Adekagagwaa would leave for the southern skies, leaving his "sleep spirit" to keep watch. As he left, he would promise his return, when once again he would reign over the weather gods. Gǎ-oh
Gaoh, Ga-oh or Gǎ-oh is a wind spirit and giant of the Iroquois, Huron and Seneca people. Gaoh was described as a cannibal and a giant who could uproot trees. He takes the form of a solitary old man. Gaoh is subservient to the Great Spirit, and in Iroquois mythology he is subservient to Adekagagwaa. Gaoh is mostly a benevolent spirit, but can be restless and violent, and would create storms. Depending on the myths, he either lives in a house in the sky, or a mountain cave called "the House of Winds." From his home, he controls the seasons, and also winds of the four cardinal directions: Ya-o-gah, Bear of the north wind, Da-jo-ji, Panther of the west wind, O-yan-do-ne, Moose of the east wind and Ne-o-gah, Fawn of the south wind. Hé-no
Hé-no is a thunder spirit of the Iroquois and Seneca people, Seneca people. He is also known as Heno, Hino, Hinu or Hinun.
