Adarsh Kumar Goel (born 7 July 1953) is an Indian Judge. Presently, he is Chairperson of National Green Tribunal. He is former Judge of Supreme Court of India. Hisar District
Hisar district is one of the 22 districts of Haryana, India. Hisar city serves as the district headquarters. Hisar district has four sub-divisions that is, Hisar, Barwala, Hansi and Narnaud, each headed by an SDM. The district is also part of Hisar division. Hisar was founded by Firuz Shah Tughlaq. The largest district in Haryana until its 1966 reorganization, some parts of Hisar were transferred to the newly created Jind district. In 1974, Tehsil Bhiwani and Loharu were transferred to Bhiwani district. Hisar was further bifurcated when Sirsa district was formed. Fatehabad district was later created as well. Punjab And Haryana High Court
Punjab and Haryana High Court is the common High Court for the Indian states of Punjab and Haryana and the Union Territory of Chandigarh based in Chandigarh, India. Sanctioned strength of Judges of this High Court is 85 consisting of 64 Permanent Judges and 21 Additional Judges including Chief Justice. As of 16th August 2022, there are 57 Judges working in the High Court, comprising 40 Permanent and 17 Additional Judges. The court building is known as the Palace of Justice. Orissa High Court
The Orissa High Court is the High Courts of India, High Court for the Indian States and union territories of India, state of Odisha. The then Bengal Presidency was a vast province including present day Assam, Bihar, Jharkhand, Orissa, and West Bengal. It was difficult to administratively manage such a vast area, inhabited by people speaking in different languages and having different traditions. Administrative exigencies required separation of such areas which originally did not from part of Bengal. So, new province of Bihar and Orissa was formed on 22 March 1912. However, the said new province of Bihar and Bihar and Orissa was under the jurisdiction of Calcutta High Court. Chokkalingam Nagappan (born 4 October 1951) is a former judge of the Supreme Court of India who served from September 2013 till his retirement in October 2016. Education Nagappan hails from Karur in Tamil Nadu and had his initial schooling there. He did his pre-university course in St. Joseph's College, Tiruchirappalli and completed his B.Sc. Degree in Chemistry at Madura College, Madurai. He studied law at Madras Law College and secured Third Rank in the Final University Examination in April, 1974. He did his M.L. Adarsh Sein Anand (1 November 1936 – 1 December 2017) was the 29th Chief Justice of India, serving from 10 October 1998 to 31 October 2001. Life Anand completed his studies from GGM Science College Jammu (erstwhile Prince of Wales college), Lucknow University, and University College London, and enrolled as an Advocate at the Bar Council on 9 November 1964. Having practised in Criminal Law, Constitutional Law, Election Law at the Punjab and Haryana High Court, he was appointed Additional Judge, Jammu and Kashmir High Court from 26 May 1975.
