Mubi is a town in Northern Senatorial District of Adamawa State, northeast Nigeria. It is subdivided into two. Mubi north and Mubi south Demographics The major tribes of the town are Fali, Gude, Kamwe, Margi and Mundang (Godo-godo). Education Mubi has three higher institutions of learning: Federal Polytechnic, Mubi, College of Health Technology (Mubi Campus), and Adamawa State University, Mubi. Adamawa state () is a state in the North-East geopolitical zone of Nigeria, bordered by Borno to the northwest, Gombe to the west, and Taraba to the southwest, while its eastern border forms part of the national border with Cameroon. Kelatapwa Farauta is a professor and the vice chancellor of Adamawa State University, Mubi. She was a former Adamawa state commissioner of education and Executive chairman of Universal Basic Education. She is currently the running mate of the incumbent governor of Adamawa State, Ahmadu Fintiri for the 2023 election.
