Adama Traoré Diarra (born 25 January 1996), simply known as Adama, is a Spanish professional Association football, footballer who plays as a Midfielder#Winger, winger for Premier League club Wolverhampton Wanderers F.C., Wolverhampton Wanderers and the Spain national football team, Spain national team. Known for his speed and strength, and ability to dribble the ball at pace, he is arguably the fastest player in the world. Traoré began his career with Barcelona, appearing mainly for FC Barcelona B, the reserves. In 2015, he signed for Aston Villa F.C., Aston Villa and a year later Middlesbrough F.C., Middlesbrough, before joining Wolverhampton Wanderers in August 2018. A penalty kick (commonly known as a penalty or a spot kick) is a method of restarting play in association football, in which a player is allowed to take a single shot at the goal while it is defended only by the opposing team's goalkeeper. It is awarded when an offence punishable by a direct free kick is committed by a player in their own penalty area. In association football, a substitute is a player who is brought on to the pitch during a match in exchange for an existing player. Substitutions are generally made to replace a player who has become tired or injured, or who is performing poorly, or for tactical reasons (such as bringing a striker on in place of a defender). A player who has been substituted during a match takes no further part in the game, in games played under the standard International Football Association Board Laws of the Game. Substitutions were officially added to the Laws of the Game in 1958.
