Adam Sonn
Adam Sonn (born February 8, 1980) is an American former professional basketball player and coach. He played college basketball for the Lipscomb Bisons and Belmont Bruins. Sonn was selected as the Atlantic Sun Player of the Year with the Bruins in 2003. He played professionally in Belgium, France, South Korea, the Netherlands, Sweden and Spain. Sonn became a high school basketball coach after his retirement from playing. Early life Sonn was raised in Nashville, Tennessee, and attended Donelson Christian Academy. He was selected as Class A Tennessee Mr. Basketball by the Tennessee Secondary School Athletic Association in 1998. Sonn committed to play for the Lipscomb Bisons because his family had connections to Lipscomb University through their Churches of Christ affiliation. Don Meyer
Donald Wayne Meyer (December 16, 1944 – May 18, 2014) was an American college basketball coach who completed his career in 2010 as head coach of the men's team at Northern State University. He was once head coach at Hamline University and Lipscomb University. Early life Meyer was born in 1944 in Wayne, Nebraska. Meyer graduated with a major in physical education from the University of Northern Colorado and excelled in baseball and basketball, being named an NCAA All-American in 1966 while playing in the 1966 NCAA College Division Basketball Tournament. He graduated in 1967. College basketball coaching career Meyer held the record for most wins by a men's basketball coach whose career included at least one stint with an NCAA member school, until it was surpassed by Duke University coach Mike Krzyzewski in November 2011. Madison (originally Madison Station) is a former settlement, now a suburban neighborhood of northeast Nashville, in the U.S. state of Tennessee. Ashley Renée Ayers (née McElhiney, born July 16, 1981) is an American basketball coach and former college player. She is best known for having been the first female coach of a male professional basketball team, as the coach of the Nashville Rhythm of the American Basketball Association in the 2004–05 season. Early life and playing career Born in Martin, Tennessee, to parents Danny and Sandra McElhiney, she attended Gleason School in Gleason, Tennessee.
