Adam Schiff (Law
Adam Bennett Schiff (born June 22, 1960) is an American lawyer, author, and politician serving as a United States House of Representatives, U.S. representative from California since 2001. A member of the Democratic Party (United States), Democratic Party, Schiff was a member of the California State Senate from 1996 to 2000. Schiff graduated from Stanford University, Stanford and Harvard Law School. As an Assistant United States Attorney, he successfully prosecuted Soviet Union, Soviet spy Richard Miller (agent), Richard Miller in 1993 and began running for office the following year. The United States House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence (HPSCI), also known as the House Intelligence Committee, is a committee of the United States House of Representatives, currently chaired by Adam Schiff.
