Adam Pearce (soccer)
Adam Pearce (born 8 January 1997) is an Australian professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Newcastle Olympic. Early life Pearce was raised in Forster, New South Wales, before moving to Newcastle, aged fifteen. In Newcastle, he attended Hunter Sports High School. Pearce began playing football aged four, but did not move into goals until aged thirteen, previously playing as a defender. Playing career Club Pearce's first experience of senior football came in the Northern NSW State League Division 1, for Newcastle Jets youth, where coach (and former Australian international) Clayton Zane praised Pearce's potential and passing ability. For the 2014 National Premier Leagues season, Pearce moved to Broadmeadow Magic. 2014 National Premier Leagues
The 2014 National Premier Leagues was the second season of the Australian National Premier Leagues football competition. This season was notable for the fact that it expanded the league to include three new divisions: Northern NSW, Victoria and Western Australia. These new divisions, combined with the divisions of prior years (being ACT, NSW, Queensland, South Australia and Tasmania), totalled to eight divisional leagues that Australian players then competed in. The winners of each divisional league went on to compete in a finals playoff tournament at the end of the season. This culminated in a grand final in which North Eastern MetroStars were crowned as National Premier Leagues Champions, and were thus qualified for the 2015 FFA Cup Round of 32. Thomas Heward-Belle (born 11 March 1997) is an Australian professional association football goalkeeper who plays for Sydney FC.
