Adam Marušić ( sr-Cyrl, Адам Марушић, ; born 17 October 1992) is a Montenegrins, Montenegrin professional footballer who plays as a full-back (association football), full-back for Serie A club S.S. Lazio, Lazio and the Montenegro national football team, Montenegro national team. Club career Voždovac Marušić made his senior debut with FK Voždovac, Voždovac in the Serbian League Belgrade, third tier of the Serbian football pyramid. After two seasons in Voždovac, he made his debut in the Serbian SuperLiga, SuperLiga. In the 2013–14 Serbian SuperLiga, 2013–14 season, Marušić scored six goals and recorded three assists. The Belgian Pro League,(officially the Jupiler Pro League due to sponsorship reasons with Jupiler), is the top league competition for association football clubs in Belgium. Contested by 18 clubs since the 2020–21 season and reduced to 16 teams from the 2023–24 season onwards, it operates on a system of promotion and relegation with the Challenger Pro League. Serbian First League
The Serbian First League ( sr, Прва лига Србије / Prva liga Srbije), referred to as the Mozzart Bet First League ( sr, Моцарт Бет Прва лига / Mozzart Bet Prva liga) for sponsorship reasons, is the name for the second tier in professional Serbia's football league. The league was formed in 2005, following a reshuffle of the second tier Serbo-Montenegrin divisions. It is operated by the Football Association of Serbia. Format The league is usually formed by 16 clubs which play all against one another twice, once at home, once away. The Serbian First League (Serbian: Prva liga Srbije) is the second-highest football league in Serbia. The league is operated by the Serbian FA. 18 teams will compete in this league for the 2012-13 season. Two teams will be promoted to the Serbian Superliga and six will be relegated to the Serbian League, the third-highest division overall in the Serbian football league system. From next season, this division will be reduced to 16 clubs, thus 6 teams will be relegated from, and 4 will gain promotion to Serbian First League.
