Adam Frisch
Adam Bennett Frisch (born October 1, 1967) is an American politician and member of the Democratic Party. He served on the Aspen City Council from 2011 to 2019, and chaired Pitkin County's financial review committee from 2005 to 2011. He was the Democratic nominee for a house seat in against Republican incumbent Lauren Boebert which he narrowly lost by around 534 votes or a margin of 0.16%. The narrow result was surprising to many political pundits who had expected Boebert to win by a large margin. In February 2023 Frisch announced his second campaign for the same seat in 2024. 9NEWS (Denver) notes that Frisch "has downplayed his party affiliation in this largely rural and conservative-leaning district and instead has called himself a 'conservative businessman.'" Aspen, Colorado
Aspen is a home rule municipality that is the county seat and the most populous municipality of Pitkin County, Colorado, United States. The city population was 7,004 at the 2020 United States Census. Aspen is in a remote area of the Rocky Mountains' Sawatch Range and Elk Mountains, along the Roaring Fork River at an elevation just below above sea level on the Western Slope, west of the Continental Divide. The 2022 United States elections were held on November 8, 2022, with the exception of absentee balloting. During this U.S. midterm election, which occurred during the first term of incumbent president Joe Biden of the Democratic Party, all 435 seats in the U.S. House of Representatives and 35 of the 100 seats in the U.S. Senate were contested to determine the 118th United States Congress. The ''Telluride Daily Planet'' is a local newspaper published in Telluride, Colorado which covers news and events in the Telluride area. It is published three days a week, on Sunday, Wednesday and Friday. According to the masthead, it has been publishing since 1898 and has incorporated two other newspapers, the ''Telluride Times'' and the ''Telluride Journal''. Dean Benson Phillips (born January 20, 1969) is an American businessman and politician who has served as the U.S. Representative from Minnesota's 3rd congressional district since 2019. The district encompasses the western suburbs of the Twin Cities, such as Bloomington, Minnetonka, Edina, Maple Grove, Plymouth, and Eden Prairie. Phillips is a member of the Democratic Party.
