Adam Berg (born 6 December 1972) is a Swedish director and writer. Career Berg has created and directed a number of television and cinema commercials. In 2009, '' Carousel'', a 139-second advertisement directed by Berg for Philips, won the Film Grand Prix at the Cannes Lions International Advertising Festival, the most prestigious award in the advertising industry. Berg has also directed commercials for Apple, Uber, MichelobULTRA, Gillette, and FiFA, and won awards at the British Arrows, the AICP Awards, and the Design and Art Direction Awards. He is represented by commercial production company Smuggler. His short film ''IN'' (2011) won the Best Short Film Award at the 2011 Gothenburg Film Festival. Afro Celt Sound System
Afro Celt Sound System is a British musical group who fuse electronic music with traditional Gaelic and West African music. Afro Celt Sound System was formed in 1995 by producer-guitarist Simon Emmerson, and feature a wide range of guest artists. In 2003, they temporarily changed their name to Afrocelts before reverting to their original name. Their albums have been released through Peter Gabriel's Real World Records, and they have frequently performed at WOMAD festivals worldwide. Their sales on the label are exceeded only by Gabriel himself. Their recording contract with Real World was for five albums, of which ''Volume 5: Anatomic'' was the last. After a number of festival dates in 2007, the band went on hiatus. "My Friend" is a song by English electronic music duo Groove Armada, released as the second single from their third studio album, ''Goodbye Country (Hello Nightclub)'' (2001), on 5 November 2001. Content The song features vocals by Celetia Martin and contains a sample from "Got to Learn How to Dance" by Fatback Band and samples a drum break from Skull Snaps' "It's a New Day". Groove Armada
Groove Armada are an English electronic music duo, composed of Andy Cato and Tom Findlay. They achieved chart success with their singles "At the River", "I See You Baby" and "Superstylin'". The duo have released nine studio albums, four of which have charted in the UK Albums Chart top 50. History Groove Armada formed after Cato and Findlay had been introduced by a mutual friend and soon started their own club night in London, called Captain Sensual at the Helm of the Groove Armada, after a 1970s discothèque. Grass Show (often written Grass~Show®) was a Britpop-inspired indie band from Sweden, active in the mid- to late-1990s. The band released one album in the United Kingdom, '' Something Smells Good In Stinkville'' (1997), from which there were three singles, "1962", "Freak Show" and "Out Of The Void". The album contains a cover version of the Ace of Base song, "All That She Wants". The artwork Grass Show's releases was notable as it often portrayed imagery of 1950s American families, which were juxtaposed with surreal and absurd elements. For example, the sleeve for the "1962" single has images of families cooking trainers. Graham Leslie Coxon (born 12 March 1969) is an English musician, singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and painter who came to prominence as a founding member of the rock band Blur. As the group's lead guitarist and secondary vocalist, Coxon is featured on all eight of Blur's studio albums (although 2003's ''Think Tank'' only features his playing on one track, due to his temporary departure from the band during recording sessions for the album). He has also led a solo career since 1998, which all of his solo albums were produced and all the instruments played by himself. Esbjörn Svensson Trio (or e.s.t.) was a Swedish jazz piano trio formed in 1993 consisting of Esbjörn Svensson (piano), Dan Berglund (double bass), and Magnus Öström (drums).
