Ada Buisson
Ada Buisson (26 March 1839 – 27 December 1866) was an English author and novelist remembered today for her ghost stories. Biography Ada Buisson was born in Battersea in Surrey, the third-born child of French-born merchant Jean François (aka 'John Francis') Buisson (1797–1871) and his England, English wife Dorothy Jane ( Smither; 1817–1852). Her eldest sibling was Leontine Cooper, Leontine, who later became a teacher, trade union organiser, suffragist and campaigner for women's rights in Queensland in Australia. Her father was declared bankrupt in 1842, and in about 1850 she and her family moved to Brighton, where her mother died in 1852. From 1854 to 1855, along with her sisters Leontine and Irma, she studied Moral Philosophy and Natural History at the women-only Bedford College, London, Bedford College in London. Ancestry
An ancestor, also known as a forefather, fore-elder or a forebear, is a parent or (recursively) the parent of an antecedent (i.e., a grandparent, great-grandparent, great-great-grandparent and so forth).
