''Actrices'' (''Actresses'') is a French comedy-drama film directed by Valeria Bruni Tedeschi, released in 2007. Noémie Lvovsky (; born 14 December 1964) is a French film director, screenwriter, and actress. Life and career Born in Paris in 1964, Lvovsky is the daughter of Jewish parents who emigrated from Ukraine to flee pogroms. Valeria Bruni Tedeschi, also written Bruni-Tedeschi (; born 16 November 1964), is an Italian-French actress, screenwriter and film director. Her 2013 film, ''A Castle in Italy,'' was nominated for the Palme d'Or at the 2013 Cannes Film Festival. Personal life Bruni Tedeschi was born in Turin, Italy, in the Piedmont region of Italy. Like her younger sister, Carla Bruni, she has settled in France. The girls were raised bilingual, as their family moved to Paris in 1973, fearing kidnappings and, later, the terrorism of the Red Brigades. She holds dual Italian and French citizenship. The 60th Cannes Film Festival ran from 16 to 27 May 2007. The President of the Jury was British director Stephen Frears. Twenty two films from twelve countries were selected to compete for the Palme d'Or. The awards were announced on 26 May. ''4 Months, 3 Weeks and 2 Days'', directed by Cristian Mungiu won the Palme d'Or. Olivier Delbosc (born 1968 in Toulouse) is a French film producer. He previously co-headed Fidelité Productions before launching his own production company Curiosa Films.
