''G.I. Joe'' has been the title of comic strips and comic books in every decade since 1942. As a licensed property by Hasbro, ''G.I. Joe'' comics have been released from 1967 to present, with only two interruptions longer than a year (1977–1981, 1997–2000). As a team fighting Cobra since 1982, the comic book history of '' G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero'' has been covered by three separate publishers and four main-title series, all of which have been based on the Hasbro toy line of the same name. The first series was produced by Marvel Comics between 1982 and 1994, running for 155 issues, and spawning several spin-off titles throughout the course of its run; the second and third series, published by Devil's Due Productions from 2001 to 2008, totaled 80 issues and included several spin-off titles as well. Ziff Davis, Inc. is an American digital media and internet company. First founded in 1927 by William Bernard Ziff Sr. and Bernard George Davis, the company primarily owns technology-oriented media websites, online shopping-related services, and software services. American Comics Group (ACG) was an American comic book publisher started in 1939 and existing under the ACG name from 1943 to 1967. It published the medium's first ongoing horror-comics title, ''Adventures into the Unknown''. ACG's best-known character was the 1960s satirical-humor hero Herbie Popnecker, who starred for a time in ''Forbidden Worlds''. A30 who sometimes used the pseudonyms Mickey Demeo, Mickey Dee, Michael Dee, and Joe Gaudioso, was an American comic book artist whose work for DC Comics, Marvel Comics and others spanned the 1950s to the 2000s. As a comic book inker teamed with his childhood friend Ross Andru, he drew for such major titles as ''The Amazing Spider-Man'' and ''Wonder Woman''. An Andru-Esposito drawing of Wonder Woman appears on a 2006 U.S. stamp. Esposito was inducted into the Will Eisner Comic Book Hall of Fame in 2007.
