Above & Beyond are an electronic music group consisting of English DJs Jono Grant, Tony McGuinness and Finnish DJ Paavo Siljamäki. Formed in 2000, they are the owners of London-based electronic dance music labels Anjunabeats and Anjunadeep, and also host a weekly radio show titled ''Group Therapy Radio''. The trio has been consistently ranked among ''DJ Magazine's'' Top 100 DJs Poll, having placed at No. 6 in 2007, No. 4 in 2008 & 2009, No. 5 in 2010 & 2011, No. 51 in 2018, No. 22 in 2019, No. 19 in 2020, No. 21 in 2021, and most recently No. 30 in 2022. History Formation (1999–2000) Grant and Siljamäki met at the University of Westminster. Justine Simone Freha Suissa (born 21 March 1970) is a British singer-songwriter, the vocalist of trance group OceanLab. Career and collaborations She has collaborated with Armin van Buuren, Markus Schulz and Robbie Rivera, and has continued to work with Above & Beyond outside of OceanLab, most recently on their 2016 world tour and participating on four songs on the band's 2018 album '' Common Ground''. Three songs "Cold Feet", "Naked" and the album's lead single " Alright Now" she appeared as a featured artist and the song "Bittersweet & Blue", featuring Richard Bedford, which marked her first co-written credit. Victoria Horn
Victoria Jane Horn (also known as Lady V) is an English Grammy Award winning songwriter and ASCAP and BMI heavy rotation award winner. Personal life Victoria Horn began studying the piano at age three and later learned the guitar. At an early age she showed promise in the areas of both fashion design and music (winning a young designer award at age 16.) She is also an accomplished show jumper with a long familial tradition in the sport. She is often referred to by her writer/feature artist name "Lady V." Richard Bedford is a Grammy Award-nominated British singer-songwriter. Biography Bedford is widely known for his vocal work in electronic dance music (EDM) and trance including his collaborations with Above & Beyond on their 2011 album ''Group Therapy'', their 2006 album '' Tri-state'', Armin van Buuren's 2013 album ''Intense'' IDMA-nominated singles "Alone Tonight" and "Sun & Moon" & Grammy Nominated single "Northern Soul". Alex Vargas
Alexander Vargas Blay (born 17 February 1988) is a Danish singer, songwriter and record producer. He was born in Denmark to a Danish-English mother and a Uruguayan father. Career Vargas relocated to London at age 17 to pursue his musical career where he was signed to Geffen Records and formed the band Vagabond. The band toured the UK selling out two headline tours and also performed at the Glastonbury, T in the Park and V music festivals. On 16 February 2010, Vargas disbanded Vagabond in order to pursue a solo career. Andrew Bayer
Andrew Michael Bayer (born 1987) is an American DJ and Grammy-nominated music producer. He is best known for working with Anjunabeats as a multi-genre artist and English deep house sublabel Anjunadeep. Born in Washington, D.C., Bayer was piano-educated as a child before graduating with a degree in music synthesis at the Berklee College of Music. His first professional music projects involved working with Scotland producer Alan Nimmo as trance music duo Signalrunners and releasing multiple extended plays and remixes through Anjunadeep. Bayer's first studio album, ''It's Artificial'', was released in 2011 and seen as a multi-genre musical record. His second album '' If It Were You, We'd Never Leave,'' which comprised a more downtempo sound, was released in 2013. Pop Rock
