The Acobamba Province is the smallest of seven Provinces of Peru, provinces located in the Department of Huancavelica of Peru. The capital of this province is the city of Acobamba. Huancavelica Region
Huancavelica () is a department and region in Peru with an area of and a population of 347,639 ( 2017 census). The capital is the city Huancavelica. The region is bordered by the departments of Lima and Ica in the west, Junín in the north, and Ayacucho in the east. Political division The department is divided into seven provinces. Quechua People
Quechua people (, ; ) or Quichua people, may refer to any of the aboriginal people of South America who speak the Quechua languages, which originated among the Indigenous people of Peru.
