Ace and the Ragers was an American rock music, rock band from the Cleveland, Ohio, Cleveland, Ohio suburb of Chagrin Falls, Ohio, Chagrin Falls. Ace and the Ragers also played shows anonymously under the guise of ''The Moonglows'' or ''The Swordsmen''. Early years Ace and the Ragers were formed in 1993 in response to the growing number of local North Coast area punk rock, punk and hardcore punk, hardcore bands enjoying success without the benefit of major label representation or promotion. Inspired by bands like the Ramones, the Ragers stormed onto the scene by adopting a fast, noisy, and raw set of favorites from the 50s, played to a frenetic punk beat. Chagrin Falls is a village in Cuyahoga County, Ohio, United States and is a suburb of Cleveland in Northeast Ohio's Cleveland-Akron-Canton metropolitan area, the 19th-largest Combined Statistical Area nationwide. The village was established and has grown around Chagrin Falls waterfall on the Chagrin River. As of the 2010 census, the village population was 4,104. The village was incorporated in 1844 from parts of three townships in two counties. Neighboring Chagrin Falls Township was established in 1845. History Chagrin Falls was laid out in 1837. The community takes its name from a series of waterfalls along the Chagrin River, which runs through the town. Geography According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of , of which is land and is covered by water. One notable landmark is the Chagrin Falls waterfall.
