Acatlán Fútbol Club is a Mexican football club that plays in the Liga Premier – Serie A. It is based in the city of Tepatitlán. History The team was created in 2016 after that the Vaqueros Bellavista left the town. In the 2017–2018 season, Acatlán finished as group champion. In the promotion playoffs, the team eliminated Troyanos UDEM, Tuzos UAZ, Club Hidalguense, Atlético Valladolid, Águilas UAS and C.D. Uruapan, to reach division final. In the final of the category, Acatlán faced the F.C. Marina tied for 1–1 in the aggregate, in the penalty shootout, Acatlán won 4–5 getting its first title in their history. Despite winning the promotion to the Liga Premier – Serie A, the team was not certified to participate in the division, so its franchise was relocated to Tepic, Nayarit and was renamed to Coras de Nayarit F.C. The Stadium Gregorio "Tepa" Gómez is a multi-use stadium in Tepatitlán de Morelos, Jalisco, Mexico. It is currently used mostly for football (soccer), football matches and is the home stadium for C.D. Tepatitlán de Morelos, Tepatitlán FC. The stadium has a capacity of 8,085 people. History It was built to house 3,000 spectators first; the name is in honor of former soccer player Gregorio Gómez † from Tepatitlán de Morelos; who played in Club Deportivo Guadalajara, Pumas de la UNAM and for the Mexican soccer team in the 50's and 60's. Club Atlético Valladolid is a Mexican football club that plays in the Tercera División de México. The club is based in Morelia, Michoacán and was founded in 1979. History The club was founded for the first time in 1959, to compete in the Second Division, taking advantage of the fact that Club Deportivo Morelia had been promoted to the First Division. In 1962 the team stopped competing professionally for the first time. In 1979 the team returned to take part in the professional leagues by enrolling in the Third Division. In 1981 Atlético Valldolid bought the place of Club Atletas Industriales de Querétaro, and with that it returned to the Second Division, taking advantage of the fact that Atlético Morelia was promoted to the First Division. The Liga TDP is Mexico's fourth tier in the Mexican League System. The Liga TDP is divided into 17 groups. For the 2009/2010 season, the format of the tournament has been reorganized to a home and away format, which all teams will play in their respective group.
