Acaraí State Park
The Acaraí State Park ( pt, Parque Estadual do Acaraí) is a state park in the state of Santa Catarina, Brazil. It protects a coastal area in the Atlantic Forest biome. There are issues due to a sizeable population of traditional residents in the park. Location The Acaraí State Park is in the municipality of São Francisco do Sul, Santa Catarina. It has an area of about on the coastal plain of the island of São Francisco, and includes the Tamboretes archipelago. São Francisco Do Sul
São Francisco do Sul is a municipality in the Brazilian state of Santa Catarina. It covers an area of 540 km² (208 miles2) and had an estimated population of 53,746 in 2020. Restingas () are a distinct type of coastal tropical and subtropical moist broadleaf forest in eastern Brazil. They form on sandy, acidic, and nutrient-poor soils, and are characterized by medium-sized trees and shrubs adapted to the drier and nutrient-poor conditions. Mangrove
A mangrove is a shrub or tree that grows in coastal saline water, saline or brackish water. The term is also used for tropical coastal vegetation consisting of such species. Mangroves are taxonomically diverse, as a result of convergent evolution in several plant families.
