Abu Ammaar Yasir Qadhi
Yasir Qadhi (born January 30, 1975), is an American preacher, theologian, and imam. Since 2001, he has served as Dean of Academic Affairs at the Al-Maghrib Institute, an international Islamic educational institution with a center in Houston, Texas. He also taught in the Religious Studies department at Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee. He is currently the resident scholar of the East Plano Islamic Center in Plano, Texas. Qadhi has written books and lectured widely on Islam and contemporary Muslim issues. A 2011 ''The New York Times Magazine'' essay by Andea Elliott described Qadhi as "one of the most influential conservative clerics in American Islam." Plano, Texas
Plano ( ) is a city in Collin County, Texas, Collin County and Denton County, Texas, United States. It had a population of 285,494 at the 2020 United States census, 2020 census. Zakir Naik
Zakir Abdul Karim Naik (born 18 October 1965) is an Indian Islamic televangelist and public orator who focuses on comparative religion. He is the founder and president of the Islamic Research Foundation (IRF) and the Peace TV Network. In 2016, Indian authorities charged Naik for money laundering while abroad in Malaysia; Naik did not return to India and became a citizen of Malaysia. Hatim Al-Awni
Hatim ibn Arif al-Awni (; born 1966) is a Saudi Arabian Islamic scholar and Hanbali traditionalist. Born in Ta'if to a Sharifian family, al-Awni completed his BA, MA and PhD in Sharia at the College of ''Da'wah'' and Fundamentals of Religion at Umm al-Qura University, where he later became Associate Professor. Ali Al-Tamimi (also Ali Al-Timimi; born December 14, 1963, in Washington, DC, US) is an American former biologist and Islamic teacher from Fairfax County, Virginia, who was convicted of soliciting treason and attempting to contribute services to the Taliban based on comments he is alleged to have made to a group of followers at a private dinner shortly after 9/11.
