Death Metal Musical Groups From California
Death is the irreversible cessation of all biological functions that sustain an organism. For organisms with a brain, death can also be defined as the irreversible cessation of functioning of the whole brain, including brainstem, and brain death is sometimes used as a legal definition of death. The remains of a former organism normally begin to decompose shortly after death. Death is an inevitable process that eventually occurs in almost all organisms. Death is generally applied to whole organisms; the similar process seen in individual components of an organism, such as cells or tissues, is necrosis. Something that is not considered an organism, such as a virus, can be physically destroyed but is not said to die. As of the early 21st century, over 150,000 humans die each day, with ageing being by far the most common cause of death. Many cultures and religions have the idea of an afterlife, and also may hold the idea of judgement of good and bad deeds in one's life (heaven, ...

Machetazo
Machetazo was a grindcore/goregrind band from A Coruña, Spain formed in 1994. They were one of the few surviving bands from the Spanish underground extreme music scene of the nineties. History Machetazo were formed in A Coruña, Spain in 1994 as a side project of two other death metal bands from the area. Initially, they were more noisecore-oriented than grindcore. They recorded two demos, ''46 Cabezas Aplastadas por un Yunque Oxidado'' in 1995, and ''Realmente Disfruto Comiendo Cadáveres'' in 1997. The latter was an international underground success, and in 1999 was remastered by the American label Fudgeworthy Records. At this point Machetazo stopped being a side project and became a band in its own right, although line-up problems forced them to continue with only two members. They recorded their first album ''Carne de Cementerio'' in 1999, which was released by Razorback Records. After this they released numerous split singles. With Dopi as the sole surviving origi ...

Deranged (band)
Deranged is a Swedish death metal band formed in 1991. The band was named after the 1974 movie '' Deranged''. History Formed in 1991, Deranged is a very peculiar band in the Swedish scene: unlike bands such as Grave, Entombed and Dismember, Deranged does not have the more melodic Swedish sound their contemporaries are known for and plays a very fast and technical deathgrind with several groove influences. Drawing inspirations from Cannibal Corpse, Carcass, Morbid Angel, Suffocation and Napalm Death, the band is better associated with US death metal. The band have released the singles ''The Confessions of a Necrophile'' -title directly extracted of the movie- (1992) and ''Upon the Medical Slab'' (1994), the EPs ''The Confessions Continue'' (1993), ''Architects of Perversions'' (1994) and ''Sculpture of the Dead'' (1996) and the albums ''Rated X'' (1995), ''High on Blood'' (1998), ''III'' (2000), ''Deranged'' (2001), ''Plainfield Cemetery'' (2002), ''Obscenities in B-Flat'' (20 ...

Abscess (album)
An abscess is a collection of pus that has built up within the tissue of the body. Signs and symptoms of abscesses include redness, pain, warmth, and swelling. The swelling may feel fluid-filled when pressed. The area of redness often extends beyond the swelling. Carbuncles and boils are types of abscess that often involve hair follicles, with carbuncles being larger. They are usually caused by a bacterial infection. Often many different types of bacteria are involved in a single infection. In many areas of the world, the most common bacteria present is ''methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus''. Rarely, parasites can cause abscesses; this is more common in the developing world. Diagnosis of a skin abscess is usually made based on what it looks like and is confirmed by cutting it open. Ultrasound imaging may be useful in cases in which the diagnosis is not clear. In abscesses around the anus, computer tomography (CT) may be important to look for deeper infection. Standard ...
