"Abriendo Puertas" (''Opening Doors'') is a 1995 song by Cuban American singer-songwriter Gloria Estefan, released as the first single from her second Spanish-language album, '' Abriendo Puertas''. A re-recorded version was later included on Estefan's 2020 album, ''Brazil305''. Song history ''"Abriendo Puertas"'' peaked at the top of the charts in Spain, Colombia and the US ''Billboard'' Hot Latin Tracks chart. The song was also a number three hit on the ''Billboard'' Hot Dance Music/Club Play chart. The massive hit was the work of Colombian songwriter and producer Kike Santander. Salsa music is a style of Latin American music. Because most of the basic musical components predate the labeling of salsa, there have been many controversies regarding its origin.
